How It Works

With Ground Coffee

1. Add approximately 10–12g of appropriately ground coffee to the filter basket.

2. Install the basket and securely assemble the brewer.

3. Add appropriately prepared hot or cold water to the reservoir without exceeding the maximum fill line.

4. Unlock the manual pump.

5. Press smoothly and consistently to begin extraction.

6. Continue pumping according to the manufacturer's instructions until brewing is complete.

Important Use Information

The HiBREW H4D is a manual espresso maker and does not heat water internally. Hot water must be heated separately before brewing if you want hot espresso.

Use caution when handling hot water and freshly brewed coffee.

Do not fill the water reservoir beyond its maximum fill line.
