Trekking Pole Setup

For general hiking on relatively level terrain, adjust the poles to a comfortable height that allows your elbows to remain near a natural right angle.

For sustained uphill sections, some hikers prefer slightly shorter poles. For descents, slightly longer poles may provide a more comfortable position.

Always make sure each folding section is completely connected and the quick-lock mechanisms are securely engaged before use.
